  • BATS: Swift Shadows in the Twilight by Ann C. Cooper, Denver Museum of Natural History, 1994. A collection of activities about bats. Includes Native American legends about bats.
  • Cactus Cafe: A Story of the Sonoran Desert by Kathleen Weidner Zoehfeld, Soundprints, 1997. Focuses on the Saguaro Cactus and its role in the desert. Includes descriptions of various animals and how they depend on the cactus for food and shelter.
